Women Who Wow Us: Week Seven. This week, we interviewed Britt Bonney, an award-winning music director and composer. Britt’s vocals can be heard on 2017’s Beauty and the Beast film as well as Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame cast album, which Britt mixed and mastered together with Stephen Schwartz. Britt is an accomplished copyist, having served as a music assistant to Alex Lacamoire, Alan Menken, Shaina Taub, and Kelli O’Hara. Britt’s vocal arrangements have been featured on The Weather Channel, the Fox network, WPIX11, at Lincoln Center, and in Broadway houses.

Women Who Wow Us: Week Six. This week, we interviewed Masi Asare, the first-ever recipient of the Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award. Masi is a composer/lyricist, playwright, singer, and voice coach with a PhD in Performance Studies. This past April, she received an Emerging Artist Grant from the Theater Hall of Fame, and this past May, she received the Stacey Mindich “Go Write a Musical” award at The Lilly Awards.

Women Who Wow Us: Week Five. This week, we interviewed Meg Zervoulis, a versatile music director, arranger, educator, and pianist. She is currently the music director of The Prom on Broadway, and she has also served as the associate music director for Mean Girls and assistant conductor for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Meg has worked as a music director/arranger/orchestrator at Paper Mill Playhouse for the past 11 years and is the resident conductor of Hotel Elefant, a contemporary music ensemble in NYC.
