Ways to Volunteer

SUPPORT
• Use your birthday to make a social media fundraiser for Maestra.
• Connect Maestra to donors, philanthropic groups, or foundations.
• Secure or donate meeting/event/office spaces, services, food, beverages, or products.
• Donate as you can. Join Continuo by setting up a recurring monthly donation of at least $10/month.
• Make a year-end gift. Ask your company, friend, or family member to match it.

VISIBILITY
• Share the Maestra and RISE Directories with people in your professional networks.
• Use the Directories to hire for your own projects.
• Generate photos and videos celebrating Maestras at Work. Tag @maestramusicorg on social media!
• Write a testimonial about how Maestra has made a difference in your life.

COMMUNITY
• Come to an in-person or online program.
• Become a mentor or a mentee.
• Join a Maestra committee, or ask about joining our Board of Directors or Advisory Board.
• Sign up to help with Amplify in the spring or with the RISE Summit in the fall.
• Connect with our RISE Network Partners to find like-minded artists and advocates.

Join The Maestra Directory

If you are a female or gender-expansive musician who works in musical theater or opera, please add your profile to the Maestra Directory. You must first create a login to the site and then log back in to build your profile.

If you have not built your profile within a month, we will assume you are a bot and delete your application, but you are always welcome to come back and start over.
