Job Description

The Show:
Treason is the new musical drama about the notorious gunpowder plot of 1605, set to
completely blow you away with stunning original music, this one-of-a-kind show tells one of
the most intriguing tales in Britain’s history as it’s never been seen before.
Songs from Treason have been streamed over million times across 96 countries to date
starring artists such as Carrie Hope Fletcher, Bradley Jaden, Hadley Fraser, Rosalie Craig,
Simon-Anthony Rhoden, Oliver Tompsett, Cedric Neal and Lucie Jones.
This autumn will see the first fully staged production of Treason on its UK tour, following sell out shows at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and a globally streamed online concert. Current named cast includes Nicole Raquel Dennis, Joe McFadden and Emilie Louise Israel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to and supporting the Musical Director and Supervisor, Nick Pinchbeck.
The Assistant Musical Director will provide a substantial voice within the music department,
hold the Keys 2 position within the band and will also have regularly scheduled shows to
conduct across the tour. NB shows will be conducted from the Keys 1 position.

Requirements:
- Previous experience of conducting musicals
- Strong piano/keys player
- Confident leading vocal teaching/cleaning calls
- Able to work as a team and independently.

Schedule:
18th September – 21st October: London rehearsals
23rd October – 28th October: Edinburgh Festival Theatre
30th October – 4th November: Sheffield Lyceum
6th November – 18th November: Alexandra Palace, London
20th November – 25th November: Orchard Theatre, Dartford.
