Beware: Bernadette! A Musical Fantasia
Synopsis
In the cramped, chaotic world of a pre-gentrified Upper Manhattan apartment, four twenty-somethings are barely holding their lives together—until she shows up. Enter Bernadette: an impossibly perky, wildly manipulative new roommate with a knack for worming her way into jobs, relationships, and even Thanksgiving dinner. At first, she seems like a blessing. But as the weeks go by, her “helpfulness” starts to unravel into full-blown chaos. As tensions boil and secrets spill, the gang realizes that their own worst instincts—jealousy, ambition, rage—may not be so different from Bernadette’s. Who’s the real villain? Who’s the real friend? And by the time the turkey hits the table, will anyone survive the holiday?
A musical fable about charm gone sinister, the messy art of adulting, and the fine line between self-discovery and self-destruction—told with biting humor, killer harmonies, and a wink of danger.
