Synopsis

A bright-eyed and adventurous girl learns her grandmother's magical secret after falling in love with an beautiful stranger. This fantasty musical set in an Africanesque village shows the life of a beloved family. A hardworking and proud farmer provides for his charming wife and five daughters. Each with their own distinct talents, they find their place in society, prepare for suitors and marriage and securing their future. The youngest, a spry daydreamer spends most of time with a her strong, doating, riddle layden grandmother and learns about the elements of nature. One night as she is singing with the moon, Alara meets the love of her life who turns out to be Water. The two must overcome entrapment after jealous Fire seduces water's best friend Air and they/she and tries to destroy the Alara's village. The race is on as morals, magic and prophecies long forgotten ensure love endures and legacy's are passed on.
