Winnie Lewis

Biography

Winnie studied classical music and flute at Stony Brook University and found her community in her all-female a capella group as a beat boxer and vocalist. She taught preschool music for two years and is Music and Vocal Director at a musical theater camp in the Hudson Valley, Bits of Broadway. She has been nannying off and on when she had to leave teaching during COVID but continues bringing joy to kids through musicals and creating personalized playlists for the kid's she is around. She is currently working on teaching herself music production so she can produce songs she and her girlfriends have written, included songs from the Gotham Writers Songwriting Workshop. She also gets a lot of musical inspiration through travel and dreams of writing the next Encanto!
