Wendy Vece

Biography

I am the 3rd generation of women in my family to be involved in musical theater. My mom and grandma were both active in their local theaters as performers. Although I did some acting in college, my true love is in the pit. I have my degree in music education with an emphasis on instrumental conducting. Through the years, I have music directed shows at all levels.
Addams Family, Little Women, Mary Poppins, Joseph, Annie, Music Man

I also play keys and woodwinds in the pit. I've played Reed 1 book for Kiss Me Kate, The Secret Garden, Addams Family (just the flute part to cover for a high school production) Keys for Little Women, Mary Poppins, Mama Mia, The Secret Garden.

In addition, I've accompanied for solo and ensemble, NATS and thespian regional. I also help teach a musical theater class at the local high school.

I'm currently Music Directing for my first Profesional regional theater gig for their Christmas production of Home 4 the Holidays.
