
Tiffany Ibañez Weiss
Biography
Tiffany is a NYC based freelance acoustic and electric violinist. She grew up dancing and playing classical violin, starting both at age 4.
Tiffany has worked with Grammy winning artists, played on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kygo, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Bellion, Bravo TV, MLB, HBO, and the American Pops Orchestra, as well as with NYC groups such as the 8-Bit Big Band, NYChillharmonic, Rootstock Republic, and Little Kruta. She also co-founded 7th House Strings, a performance group dedicated to educational outreach, and making classical instruments relevant for youth by creating song arrangements of chart-topping songs. Her previous work has included touring as a violinist for productions, judging regional competitions for violin, violin masterclasses, and orchestral subbing. During the pandemic, she wrote a string arrangement for a song that was later featured in Rolling Stone Magazine.
Originally from Arizona, she graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance & Pedagogy, Music Education, and a Minor in Dance.
