Taja Graves-Parker, a Bronx-born tenor trombonist, began her musical journey at eight and soon set her sights on a music career. She earned her B.M. from SUNY Purchase and M.M. from NYU. A skilled, versatile musician, she performs jazz, hip hop, R&B, classical, and Broadway, gracing venues like Carnegie Hall, Birdland, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Taja’s passion and artistry enrich every performance, engaging and inspiring audiences wherever she plays.
