Sunny Sheu
Biography
Sunny is a Taiwanese-American violinist, pianist, and freelance music producer. She studied classical violin, film scoring, and music production at The Juilliard School for her BM and MM, and graduated during the start of the pandemic. Although she is classically-trained, Sunny finds inspiration in game and film scores. Pre-Pandemic, Sunny performed in several interdisciplinary works such as Jonathan Dawe's "Cracked Orlando," Jack McGuire's "We All Should Help," and was scheduled to perform Molly Joyce's "Lean Back and Release" until it was cancelled due to Covid-19. Since 2020, Sunny was hired as a stunt double and music advisor for the Taiwanese film "Reborn," where she worked on set for 18-20 hours daily for 2 months. In 2021, Sunny was very grateful to have performed as a sub for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular orchestra. Sunny was a Radio City Christmas Spectacular chair holder for the 2022 season, and has subbed violin and keyboard for several Off-Broadway shows. She was also hired by the American Opera Project to premiere the all-women staffed opera, "Letters That You Will Not Get."
