Biography
Stephanie Leah Evans is a Music Assistant/Copyist/Composer/Performer who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Music Major from Tufts University. She is quite skilled in notation software, such as Sibelius and Finale. And her extensive experience as a singer greatly informs her abilities in vocal transcription, writing, and arranging. Credits include The Wrong Man at MCC Theater (Music Assistant), Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice at The New Group (Music Assistant/Copyist), The Visitor at The Public Theater (Music Assistant), and various film/TV/stage projects for Alex Lacamoire.
Having also studied multimedia scoring at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, she is excited about story-telling through film composition, using programs like Digital Performer and Logic Pro X. And when not making music, Stephanie is involved in political action to increase equity and justice in our society and in our industry.
