Biography

Sophia Schott is a playwright, lyricist, composer, and director based in Minneapolis Minnesota. She has written three musicals, two plays, and one EP. Her original lesbian bunker musical comedy, I Dig You, was produced at Grinnell College. Schott studied at the National Music Theater Institute and Grinnell College, where she was awarded the McClenon Clark Playwriting Award (2019), and the Curd Ninth Semester Fellowship (2021). She has been a director and music director for Minneapolis Community Education for four years, and performs around the Twin Cities as a singer, actor, and improvisor.
