Sofia Tuovila

Biography

Sofia Tuovila is a recent graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, where she gained a Master of Arts in Musical Direction and Coaching with Distinction. In addition to her studies at the Academy, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. Most recently, she was Assistant Musical Director for Fiddler on the Roof UK Tour (2025). Her musical direction credits while training include Nine (2025) and Sweeney Todd (2025). She was also the assistant musical director and co-orchestrator of The Last 25 Years (2024). Her previous credits include serving as Musical Director of The Addams Family (2022) and Assistant Director and Vocal Coach for Tick, Tick, Boom! (2024).

Sofia holds an LRAM voice teaching qualification and is passionate about music education and vocal pedagogy. She is dedicated to nurturing new talent and sharing her knowledge of both performance and vocal technique.
