Biography
Selina Liu is a second-year student at Northwestern University pursuing a BA in theatre and music and a minor in music education. She is a pianist proficient in classical, jazz, and pop/rock styles. She has directed, conducted, and arranged for vocal groups, chamber ensembles, and small jazz ensembles. She is the music director for Community Singers, a choir at Northwestern, and the keyboardist in her band. She works as a pit musician and accompanist at the university and has a private vocal studio for beginning musical theatre actors. Most recently, she was the music director at Citadel Theatre’s education programs for the production of Matilda Jr. and the Broadway 2000s Intensive. She is currently working on the book, lyrics, music, and orchestrations of her original musical.
