Biography
Over the past 20 years, violinist/violist Sarah Zun has established herself in New York City as a versatile collaborator across a multitude of musical styles. Sarah has been a chairholder at several Broadway shows, most notably Sunset Boulevard (2024), Merrily We Roll Along, Beetlejuice, and Hello Dolly!. She has also held violin and viola chairs at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Recently, Sarah has toured as a member of the Vitamin String Quartet collective, performing pop covers arranged for string quartet. Also a passionate classical musician, Sarah is a member of the Harrisburg Symphony and a former member of the New Haven Symphony. She has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, American, Riverside and Greenwich symphonies among others. Ms. Zun has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and in performance with such luminaries as Diana Ross and Barry Manilow. Sarah attended the Tanglewood, Verbier and Aspen music festivals, and studied at The Juilliard School. Also an experienced educator, Sarah currently teaches violin and viola at The Horace Mann School, and has taught privately for 20 years.
