Sarah (Linyao) Feng
Biography
Sarah is a gifted and versatile composer and pianist, known for seamlessly combining her classical background with a love for jazz and orchestral music. Currently based in New York, she is pursuing her Bachelor Degree in Music Theory and Composition with a concentration in Screen Scoring at New York University. With a solid technical foundation and an inspired style influenced by her Chinese heritage, Sarah has already garnered recognition for her talent. She was awarded an "Honorable Mention" in the 2021 RecChange Scoring Competition, and has worked with awards winning animators. Her recent score for the animation "Little Rabbit," directed by Johanna Xue, has won the prestigious King Awards at the NYU First Run Festival. Furthermore, "Little Rabbit" has been chosen as a finalist for the esteemed Fusion Film Festival 2023.
