Sarah Novak

Biography

Sarah Novak is a Sophomore at Northwestern University studying musical theatre performance, and specializing in music direction and accompaniment. Growing up as a classical pianist, Sarah gained strong foundational skills in piano performance, music theory, and sight reading. She is now employed by the university as an accompanist for Musical Theatre Certificate voice lessons and has played Key 1, 2, and 3 in the pit for several shows including The Prom, Funny Girl, and Tuck Everlasting. She also assistant music directed a middle school summer camp at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in 2022. As a vocalist, Sarah is taking Non-Major voice lessons with Professor Elena Batman and has performed in several student, and school-sponsored shows at Northwestern. Music will always make Sarah's heart shine, and she wants to continue to learn how to pass it on to the world around her!
