Sara De Sanctis
Sara De Sanctis was born in Italy in 1995. At the age of eighteen she achieved a Conservatoire Piano Diploma. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, she continued her musical studies at the University of Bristol, UK, at the
Eastman School of Music in Rochester, USA, and acquired a Music Bachelor’sDegree in 2020. She then studied conducting at the London Conducting Academy and is currently training to become a musical director.
In 2021, she decided to pursue a career in songwriting and released her debut single ‘Serendipity’, followed by ‘15 Again’, both featured on BBC and prized in Italy also featured as one of the weekly Earworms on BBC and winner of the
Press Prize at the Italian national music competition ‘Il Cantagiro’. Her third release, Fading, was remixed by UK House music hero Richard Earnshaw and was featured on radio stations all around the world, such as Metropolis.
Inspired by artists such as Björk, Thom Yorke and Agnes Obel, she is active as a pianist and singer/songwriter, as well as conductor and choir leader, and working towards the release of her first album.
