Samantha Kao

Biography

Samantha Kao is a versatile pianist, singer, and educator based in Los Angeles. She graduated summa cum laude from University of Michigan School of Music in 2020, earning a bachelors in musical arts with a concentration in piano performance. Since then, she has worked as a freelance accompanist, vocalist, and private lesson instructor in community theaters, churches, and schools. She is particularly interested in the combination of different music genres such as EDM, jazz, classical, and funk.

Besides music, Samantha is a paralegal at an immigration agency, and has experience working in nonprofit and substitute teaching. Her other interests include programming, music production, dancing, and foreign languages.
