Rowen Merrill
Biography
Rowen Merrill is a composer, arranger, and violinist, based in Nashville, TN and Los Angeles, CA.
Rowen began singing before she could speak and loved composing jingles and playful tunes as a child. At the age of 5, she began playing the violin, and her professional career started shortly after. Rowen sang on movies such as The Polar Express, Mulan II, and Lilo and Stitch II, to name a few. She also had the privilege to sing on Neil Young’s album, “Americana.”
In 2018, Rowen released her first instrumental “mini-album” Kewl Vibes by Rowen. She just released her second album, which was released released under Warner Chappell Productions in May of 2023.
In addition to her work as a composer, Rowen has arranged and recorded for artists such as Katy Kirby, Bully, Lou Turner, Grumpy, and Dreamer Boy. She has also performed with Kacey Musgraves, Daniel Tashian, Lydia Luce, and others as a string player.
