Biography

"I can make you laugh or cry with a turn of phrase."

At the age of 3, I wrote my first song. Now, with over 250 songs in my catalogue, including children's songs, funny songs, and spiritual/inspirational songs, my music has been published and performed around the world. "Singing Through The Night", my first CD, has been described as nourishing and healing. My immediate goals are finishing and producing two musicals that I am currently working on; long-term, I aspire to continue to work actively in the field of musical theatre.

I am the founder, current artistic director and conductor of the Kingston Jewish Community Choir; a founding board member of the Open Voices Community Choir; and serve as a songleader, music educator, and Cantorial Soloist. I have given workshops in personal growth, and taught courses in songwriting and creative process.

I am also a physician with over 30 years of experience in Family Medicine and psychotherapy, facilitating healing and personal growth.

I integrate these two aspects of my life based on my belief that music and medicine flow from the same healing source.
