Biography
Rona Moriah is a playwright, librettist, lyricist, and screenwriter. Her work has been presented at Berklee NYC, Green Room 42, The Cutting Room, 54 Below, and the Lynn F. Angelson Theater at Classic Stage Company.
Rona is the 2020 recipient of Boston University’s Humanities Scholars Award. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English literature from Boston University/Kilachand Honors College and a Master of Arts in Writing and Design for Musical Theater from Berklee NYC. In her spare time, Rona loves making grilled cheeses and sending memes to her siblings.
Recent works include: Wilderness! (Official Selection - SheNYC Arts off-Broadway Festival), Tides (In development with Berkson Productions), Qatha (Semi-Finalist, Irons in the Fire), Vincent (Finalist, Write Out Loud Volume Six), and Parental Guidance (Winner, Eden Prairie Players' Women+ One Act Festival).
