Biography
Rebecca is a Chicago-based violist with extensive performance experience in orchestras for musical theater, opera, ballet, and live film score productions. She is completing a master's degree at Northwestern University under Helen Callus, and holds degrees from the Glenn Gould School in Toronto, and The Boston Conservatory. She currently performs with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, Camerata Chicago, and is a substitute player with the Milwaukee and Elgin Symphonies. She has previously performed with the Boston Philharmonic, Symphony New Hampshire, New Bedford Symphony, Ontario Philharmonic, and Esprit Orchestra.
She has performed in productions of Parade, A Little Night Music, Spring Awakening, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, and many others. Rebecca is enthusiastic about pit work and is looking forward to getting involved in the Chicago and Midwestern theatre scene.
