Biography
Priscilla (she/her) is a New York-based violinist/violist, pursuing a M.M. in Violin Performance at New York University.
As a recent undergraduate of NYU, Priscilla has served as Concertmaster simultaneously of the symphonic NYU Orchestra, Broadway Orchestra, and Contemporary Music Ensemble, including readings with Jonathan Tunick (A Little Night Music), Marc Shaiman (Hairspray), Alan Menken (Sister Act), and Dan Miccichi (MD: Wicked). She has doubled on viola in NYU Steinhardt’s mainstage production of Into the Woods and Sweeney Todd, and in readings on Violin/Viola for shows like The Great Gatsby. She is the String Studies Assistant and Social Media Manager for @nyu_instrumental, and previously tutored for the Music Theory/Aural department.
Priscilla freelances throughout NYC, recording as a studio musician, playing shows around the city with RAEGAN's band with her own string arrangements, and performing for local theatre productions and cabarets at 54 Below/Green Room 42. During the summer, she has served as Concertmaster for the College Light Opera Company’s nine shows (sixty-six performances), Assistant Concertmaster for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre’s productions of Fiddler on the Roof and The Wizard of Oz, and mostly recently, Violin/Viola in New London Barn Playhouse’s production of Bridges of Madison County. She made her national tour debut subbing on violin/viola in The Book of Mormon in March.
