Biography

Paige Durr, drummer and educator, is currently the Drum set chair for the Off Broadway Production of A Sign of the Times. Previously, she was the drumset chair for the US Tour of Into the Spider-Verse with the Broadway Sinfonietta and the First National Tour of Six the Musical. Other credentials include performing as a sub for Six Broadway, appearing on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert and Six the Musical, NCL Bliss.

Before being a theater musician, Paige was an active educator in the DFW area teaching private lessons and masterclasses. She is also an active educator and arranger for Girls March, and JMU Summer Band Camp.

She received her Masters in Percussion Performance and her Undergrad in Music Education from James Madison University, where she had the pleasure of working with Mr. Casey Cangelosi. Her Masters Assistantship included writing, rehearsing, and teaching the JMU Marching Royal Dukes Drumline.

Paige won second place in Marching Category for the 2019/2021 Hit Like A Girl Competition. She also won runner up in the 2018 Ted Atkatz Percussion Seminar Mock Audition.

Through all of her educational and performance experiences, Paige is an Endorsed Artist for Vic Firth and Zildjian.
