Nylah Bradshaw
Biography
Nylah Bradshaw is a neuroscience major at Temple University, intending on pursuing musical theater writing and performance in the future. As an instrumentalist, her main instrument is clarinet, but she has also studied trumpet, flute, violin, and piano over the past 15 years. During her ten years of clarinet experience, she has played in wind ensembles, orchestras, marching bands, and as a soloist in state competitions.
As a performer, Nylah has studied a variety of dance styles and performed both in schools and local performance groups. She has learned and performed in ballet, hip hop, tap, ballroom, and musical theater. As a composer, she studied music theory and composition while in high school, which led to her interest in singing and songwriting. She is currently studying voice and piano in Philadelphia, PA, while writing her first musical. She is interested in composition, orchestrating, and performing, with hopes of mainly performing in the future.
