Biography
Nya Holmes is a Los Angeles born bassist currently on the road with the Hadestown 2nd National Tour. They studied Jazz Studies at NYU and have played a variety of venues throughout the tri-state area including Green Room 42, NuBlu Classic, Heaven Can Wait, South Jazz Kitchen, The Bowery Electric, and The Delancey. They have participated in several off broadway productions with NYU's Tisch New Theatre as well as workshops of new works. They are proficient in several genres including classical, jazz, musical theatre, pop, and rock.
