Naomi Ho

Biography

I am a music educator and classically-trained pianist and cellist. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I am now based in Vienna, Austria, splitting my time between both cities. I have eight years of experience as a music educator, in private instrumental lesson settings, after-school group classes, and music directing youth theater. As a pit musician, I play both keys/synth and cello. Recent theater companies I have performed with are Korsa Musical Theater (Oklahoma!, cello) and Berkeley Playhouse (Seussical, Keys 1/conductor, sub). I also work as an accompanist, with both instrumental and vocal performers. As a fun aside, I am also trained in baroque historical performance practice, and perform on baroque cello and viola da gamba.
