Miu Sato
Biography
Miu Sato is a Japanese composer and pianist based in New York City with a strong passion towards film scoring, musical theatre, and orchestration. She began training classically from a young age following the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and was recently awarded a Diploma in Piano Music Performance for completing her DipABRSM.
Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Film Music Composition and is a composer for the Color of My Voice, an animated series that highlights real life stories of marginalized individuals overcoming racial injustice. Recently, she was music assistant for Yoko's Husband's Killer's Japanese Wife, Gloria, workshopped at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center for the National Music Theater Conference.
