Hi, I'm Mim.
I'm a New York-based actor, singer, composer, writer and executive consultant working across all media and theatre coast-to-coast. I'm a member of Actors’ Equity Association, Dramatists Guild of America, Songwriters Guild of America, Society of Composers and Lyricists, the Alliance For Women Film Composers, as well as a couple of writers' groups in NYC, like, UAC [Urban Artists Collective.] I just recently became a Theatrical Member of The Lambs. Should I have used ChatGPT to write this bio? Probably. It would probably be less about affiliations and more about me as a person, but really, who actually reads these bios for personal information? No one cares about my feelings and thoughts. What qualifies and quantifies my presence on Maestra is all anyone cares about. Am I right?

I'm a person first. And this person sitting right here [not a bot. Under skills: she can click all the images of crosswalks and traffic lights] has lived a full life. And just like you, I'm living while female. I create and produce work for myself- probably just like you do. I get hired by others to collaborate or just take on key roles on stage, in front of the mic or camera, or behind the scenes-- all the same. I'm also not a mercenary-- meaning, I will not take on projects for only the cash or only the credit. Our time is so valuable isn't it? Anyway, those who know me, like me. Those who don't know me, really don't know me. I mean, really. Did that come across as "braggy?" That came across as braggy didn't it? See? No ChatGPT! Nope. ChatGPT wouldn't make up a word like that [insert evil binary language version of a laugh here.]

She doesn't take herself too seriously, even when doing serious work. She's always early and stays late when necessary. Both feet and hands in the ride at all times. Not a straggler, a leader, but a leader who will walk next to stragglers to help them keep up the pace.

Oh, and I use Steinberg Cubase Pro in my home studio, and I both notate my music and play on the fly. I have been singing with full orchestras since I was age five. I'm a vaudevillian at heart. A trouper. Anything else? A mom, a wife, a dog mom, a cat mom of a rescue and a stray... What else? Oh, no! The timer is ticking. I'd better go before this whole thing blows! Tell my husband and son, I love them!
