Maryanne Boaz

Biography

Maryanne Boaz believes in the power of embracing the discomfort through musical and non-liner theatre. Some of Maryanne’s directing work includes Paper Brigade (Sandbox Musicals), Bend Toward the Light (Chicago Musical Theater Festival), As You Like It (CCPA), and The Heart Break Cabaret (Independent). In addition to directing, Maryanne is passionate about writing. Some of her works include Jenny; a New Musical (CMTF, Co-Produced by Kokandy and Steppenwolf Theatre), When I Meet Her (Rivendell Theatre), Simon Says (Boaz Productions), and Who We Are (Student Workshop). Maryanne sends her love to her roommates, friends, family, and mentors who inspire her to share her voice.
