Biography

I'm Martha, Im 27 years old, I consider myself a proactive person with a lot of energy, commitment, discipline, hungry to learn, but above all passionate.
I play the psalter, sing and dance. The psalter came to me when I was 6 years old and I hope it never let me go; I've played in different typical and classical orchestras such as "Orquesta Clásica de México", "Orquesta Típica Juvenil México".
I was on a group called "Manosanta", as a psalterist, composer, arranger and singer; the group combines mexican and sami (sweedish) traditional music and we had the opportunity to tour in Mexico, Sweden, London and Denmark.
I've participated on a Tania's Libertad record "José Alfredo y Yo".
In highscool and college I've been part of the music company at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Santa Fe, as psalterist, arranger and singer with the groups: "Da folk" - popular music in spanish and "Requiem: Agustin Lara".
Finally I had the opportunity to be ensemble in "Grease" - 2018. Swing and backing singer in "Everybody's talking about Jamie" - 2023. Both productions in Mexico City.
I've been teaching and producing (concerts, musical theater, theater, dance performances) in the arts and culture department at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Santa Fe , since 2019 until now.
