Biography

I recently moved to Maryland from Chicago, where I played in a variety of bands over the last 20 years or so: bluegrass/alt country, female pop, and a 60s/70s cover band. During the pandemic, I teamed up with a former band mate on a kids indie project under the name Brighter Light Brigade. We released a single in 2020 called “Kindness is King” on World Kindness Day, and that led to two EPS released this year by 8 LB Gorilla Records. I’m a clinical psychologist, and she is a social worker/music therapist, and all the songs have a social emotional focus, intended to start conversations in families and classrooms around emotional expression. I also do voiceover work, with experience primarily in education/training and industrial. I am mom to a 13 year old son and 5 year old Corgi, and we live in Columbia.
