Biography
Marissa Saroca (they/she) is a singer/musician/actor/creative with an extensive recording, songwriting, coaching, and live performance career. They have released two original albums and a new single, and was on Team Lea (Salonga) of The Voice of the Philippines. Musical Director debut PASSING STRANGE (Antipodes Theatre Co) and currently touring fringe circuit with CHERRY as MD and Sound Designer. Acting highlights: ‘Lizzie’ LIZZIE (Hayes Theatre, Sydney), ‘The Arbiter’ CHESS (Civic Theatre Newcastle), ‘Ensemble/Seasons of Love soloist/Maureen and Joanne cover’ RENT (Sydney Opera House), ’Ensemble’ GHOST and SHREK (Manila), ‘Gabriella’ HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (Newcastle Entertainment Centre). Member of Musicians Australia and Equity (MEAA). Associate Facilitator of Stage a Change. Born and living on stolen land which always was and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
