Marissa Saroca

Biography

Marissa Saroca (they/them) is a singer/musician/actor/creative with an extensive recording, songwriting, coaching, and live performance career. They have released two original albums ‘Cheaper Than Therapy’ (2008), ‘Boys Write Love Songs Too’ (2012), and the single ‘Like You Used To’ (2022) and was on Team Lea (Salonga) of the first season of The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. Green Room Awards nominated for Music Director debut PASSING STRANGE (Antipodes Theatre Co), Assistant Music Director NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 (DTC), Australian MD of new musical OMEN (Musical Writers Academy Pitch Night winner, USA), and toured fringe circuit with CHERRY as MD and Sound Designer.
