Born in Japan, Mami Matsuura is a versatile pianist, music director in NYC area. She is a sought-after performer on an array of projects in many different styles of music. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in December 2019. Mami was selected as a member of the Piano Department Concert and was awarded the Jazz Performance Award while at Berklee, and also worked there as a musical theater music director and pit musician. Mami is currently working as a Principal / Lead pianist and Conductor for "Poupelle of Chimney Town," a new musical based on the bestselling Japanese picture book and launching off-broadway theatre in 2021.
