Mami Matsuura
Biography
Mami Matsuura is a pianist based in New York City. She was born in Yokohama, Japan, where she began her formal piano studies. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she learned jazz and other styles of music, and gained opportunities as an accompanist, pit musician, and music director. Her career includes a role as the Keyboard 1 for the CATS North American Tour from 2021 to 2023. She currently serves as an assistant for the new musical Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen. Her other past credits include Big Fish, Wizard of Oz, Multicultural Women in Theater, and Poupelle of Chimney Town.
