Mackenzie Conroy
Biography
Mackenzie Conroy is a woodwind doubler based in the New York City area and performs on flute, oboe, clarinet, and saxophone. She holds a Masters degree in Multiple Woodwinds from New Jersey City University where she studied with Todd Groves and Julie Pacheco. Mackenzie also holds a bachelors degree in Music Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Mackenzie has performed in various ensembles from wind ensembles, symphony orchestras, and pit orchestras. She has recently performed in the pit orchestra of Weston Theater Company’s Production of Singin’ in the Rain and will be performing in the orchestra for the Christmas Spectacular show starring the Radio City Rockettes.
When not performing, Mackenzie can often be found in the kitchen baking cookies for friends and colleagues.
