Biography
Luca Caterina Raufer is an artist and performer whose work spans across different mediums and languages. A native Philadelphian, and alum of the Wildflower Composers Festival, they currently are pursuing a degree in Italian Studies at Bard College, where they are involved in many student theater/music/dance projects. In addition to working at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, they are a part of the editorial board of the translation magazine Sui Generis, and have self-published several zines as well as an EP of original music under the name in the reeds. Current projects include working as a book writer and lyricist of a forthcoming original musical surrounding themes of queerness and religion, as well as developing a new publication focused on queer translated stories across different media formats.
