Lexi Weakley

Biography

Hi! My name is Lexi Weakley and I am a musical theater writer based in New York. I write book, music, and lyrics, and have produced multiple original works in the New York and Los Angeles area. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2022, where I studied Songwriting and Musical Theater Writing. In my third year at Berklee, I wrote my second original musical "Elsewhere," which premiered in LA in the summer of 2021. Our cast album was released in the summer of 2022. Upon moving to New York in 2022, I participated in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop in NYC, and my original musical "Elsewhere" earned recognition as a semi-finalist in the O'Neill National Musical Theater Conference. I also began working as a music assistant for a developing Broadway show. In addition to musical theater, I write original Jewish music and have been featured as an "emerging artist" on Jewish Rock Radio and other platforms.
