Biography
Lauryn Gaffney a director, vocal trainer and is an award-winning Irish songwriter, composer, and musical theatre writer. She is a five-time BroadwayWorld Award winner for her debut musical Big Shot, which garnered critical acclaim for its original score and storytelling. Lauryn’s work has been showcased at prestigious venues including 54 Below in New York City, where her newest musical Jilted will make its NYC concert debut on April 22nd, following sold-out shows in Dublin and London.
She was also nominated for Hot Press Songwriter of the Year, a nod to her growing presence in both musical theatre and pop music. In addition to her theatre work, Lauryn collaborates with a range of female artists, writing and producing pop music that blends heartfelt lyrics with bold, contemporary sounds.
