Lauren Janoschka

Biography

Lauren is a music director, performer, and arts administrator in the DC area. As an artist, her passion lies in merging live theater and music, especially in new musical works and modernizing classics and non-musical works in pop/rock contexts. Lauren’s selected music direction credits include: SPOOKY ACTION THEATER: Professor Woland’s Black Magic Rock Show (Assistant Music Director, Key 1 Sub),OHIO UNIVERSITY: See Rock City and Other Destinations (Music Director), TANTRUM THEATER: Eight-Sixed: The Musical Workshop (Assistant Music Director), Spring Awakening (Assistant Music Director), OHIO UNIVERSITY LANCASTER: Into the Woods (Vocal Music Director), RENT (Vocal Music Director). Regionally, Lauren was most recently seen as Carrie White in Tantrum Theater’s production of Carrie: The Musical, as well as Princess Mary in Natahsa, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and Spring Awakening. BFA in Musical Theater and Master of Arts Administration from Ohio University.
