Biography
Lara Lewison is a violinist based in Queens, NY. She has performed as a pit musician with the Curtis Opera, Regina Opera, and the Blue Theater Troupe.
Lara is a section violinist in Symphony in C, and performs with groups such as the Princeton Symphony, New Jersey Camerata, Infrasound, Black Box New Music, Contemporaneous, the Young New Yorkers Chorus, among others.
Lara has participated in festivals such as the Tanglewood Music Center and Lucerne Festival Academy. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in WA, including the Bremerton Symphony and Saratoga Symphony.
Lara holds a BA from Columbia University in Music, and was the class recipient of the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts.
