Biography

Kristin KP Sgarro (they/them) is an NYC Musician, as well as an Actor and Emcee.

As Composer: The Song of Avalon Saga (by Lisa LaGrande); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Queens College); Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Othello (Match: Lit); Blood on These Hands (by Luis Roberto Herrera) and Scar Tissue (by Victoria M. Fragnito) at The Tank, and more.

As Music Director: NYC Fringe/Everyday Inferno, NYC Frigid/Horse Trade, Match: Lit, AMIOS, several independent productions; Greater Philadelphia Area: Captain Louie (Upper Darby Summer Stage - MD, Conductor, Piano 1 for live remote orchestra), Assassins, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, A Year With Frog & Toad, cabaret connoisseur and a cappella arrangement enthusiast (Muhlenberg College).

Audition and rehearsal accompanist (who loves a good sightread), and composer/arranger specializing in choral and a cappella format. KP is also a Teaching Artist, and has taught with Arts Ignite!/International Rescue Committee, Wingspan Performing Arts, CUNY Hunter, The YMCA, and more.
