Kristen Lee Rosenfeld
Biography
Kristen Lee Rosenfeld is an NYC based composer and music director. Her music direction credits include the First National Tour of the Broadway musical Spring Awakening and the recent Off-Broadway hit Friends! The Musical Parody. Additional NYC credits include Band of Angels with collaborator Colman Domingo, Into the Woods in concert with Prospect Theatre and NAAP, several shows at NYMF, and many more. Regional: Olney Theatre Center, John W. Engeman Theatre, Village Theatre, Cortland Rep, Fingerlakes Musical Theatre Festival and others. Kristen has worked as a guest artist and music director at several universities including SUNY Cortland, Pomona College, American University, Merrymount Manhattan and Manhattan College. As a composer, Kristen collaborates with her mother, Luanne Aronen Rosenfeld. Their musical Divided has been developed at The Pitch, Theatre Accelerator and last year through a two-week workshop at James Madison University. Kristen’s songs have been heard at many NYC venues including Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, the Triad, the Beechman and the Metropolitan Room.
