Biography
Kelsee Vandervall is a cellist based in Chicago, IL. Currently, Kelsee tours with the First National Tour of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Recent theater credits include pre-Broadway run of The Notebook The Musical at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (2022)and the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada at Chicago Nederlander Theater (2022).
Kelsee’s background includes training in classical and contemporary genres. She received a Bachelor’s of Music in Contemporary Music from Columbia College Chicago followed by a dual Master's of Music Degree in Performance & Chamber Music at the University of Michigan. This background has led to a versatile career as a concert performer with artists including Lizzo, J. Cole, KYGO and Michael Bublé; a session musician for projects with Eminem, PJ Morton, John Legend, and Kirk Franklin; and television spots including episodes of the FOX show EMPIRE.
