Biography
Kelly Dupuis is a bookwriter and lyricist whose musical JUBILEE, created with composer Marc Smollin, won the Daryl Roth Award and received a staged reading produced by The Directors Company in New York City. Her collaboration with Smollin also produced EDUARDO, a viral cabaret hit performed by Tony Award winners Celia Keenan-Bolger and Kristin Chenoweth. She wrote the one-act musical BEHRMAN with composer John Tarbet and is currently developing a supernatural thriller musical with Richard Rodgers and Jonathan Larson award-winner Scott Murphy. An alumna of the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Vassar College, and the National Theater Institute, Dupuis completed a residency at Drama Club Camp in 2024 and 2025 where she worked on her new musical, Motherlode with collaborator, Scott Murphy.
