Kara Noel Martin
Biography
Kara Noel Harrington has been teaching voice and piano for over 15 years in the Atlanta area. She received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Piano from Shorter College and is an accredited member of International Voice Teachers of Mix Singing. Kara is passionate about bringing out her clients' true voice while maintaining a confident, powerful, and healthy sound!
Many of her clients have been accepted into prestigious Musical Theatre programs such as Florida State University, Berklee College of Music, Ball State, Rider, Otterbein, and Alabama University. Other clients have been cast in leading roles in their high school musical productions. She also enjoys working with local professional actors and dancers, as well as adults who are singing “just for fun!”
Kara is also passionate about performing herself and continues to work with local professional theatre companies. Some of her favorite roles include Olive Ostrovsky in 25th Annual Putnam Co. Spelling Bee, April in Company, Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Meg March in Little Women, and the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods.
