Biography
Kami Lujan (she/her) is a drummer and percussionist based in North Texas where she frequently teaches and performs as a musician for theater productions across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Kami previously held the drum chair for the US National Tour of Six The Musical and is endorsed by Innovative Percussion and Porter & Davies.
Other credits of note include Drums/Percussion for Beauty & The Beast on the Disney+ show Encore, Actor/Musician/Percussion for Our Town / Nuestro Pueblo at Dallas Theater Center (DTC), Drums/Percussion for Working: A Musical at DTC, Drums for Next to Normal at Theatre Three, and Drums for Tarzan at Lyric Stage.
Kami is a graduate of the University of North Texas College of Music where she studied with Mark Ford, Christopher Deane, Paul Rennick, Ed Smith, Mi Henry Okstel, and Dave Hall. She is also an alumnus of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.
