Biography

Hi - my name is Julie Garnyé and I am so honored to be a part of the Maestra Directory.

I am a singer, actress, writer, and voice teacher, specializing in musical theatre and pop/rock. I teach vocal technique, vocal performance, and help with building repertoire, all either in-person (in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco) as well as on Zoom. I have taught Musical Theatre vocal technique at the university level at two colleges in Los Angeles. I also teach Vocal Intensive Master Classes, as well as Musical Theatre Audition Technique Master Classes all over the country.

As a writer, I am the co-author of THE STAGE ACTOR'S HANDBOOK (published by Rowman & Littlefield 2022), as well as a TV pilot and full-length feature film. I am currently working on my first book of a musical.
