Biography
Julia Adamy plays electric, upright and synth basses. She lives in Brooklyn, NY though is often touring the world with artists like Hozier and Sam Smith. In addition she has shared the stage and/or recorded with Cher, Sara Bareilles, Nick Jonas, Ben Platt, Colbie Caillat, India Arie, Darren Criss, Tituss Burgess, Adrienne Warren, The 8-Bit Big Band, Bokante (including members of Snarky Puppy) and many more. She has done TV work with Netflix, NBC's Smash, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Graham Norton, The Today Show, The Katie Show and Good Morning America. She is currently the chair holder for the Broadway show The Last Five Years. She has also played the Broadway productions of Hamilton, Moulin Rouge, The Cher Show, Mamma Mia!, Jesus Christ Superstar, Suffs, Matilda, Tootsie and Ghost.
