Biography

MD/ Pianist/ Arranger

Jo trained at Goldsmiths College, University of London for both undergraduate (BMus. Hons.) and postgraduate (MA Popular Music Research)

With 15 years experience as an MD, Jo has worked throughout the UK and in Europe. Recent credits include Magical Merlin (Fortune Theatre) Jack and the Beanstalk (Stratford East) and Merry Wives (Wandsworth Fringe). Jo is currently an install MD with Blackburn International, installing productions for Viking Cruises.

Experienced in working with young performers as well as professionals, Jo works as a Musical Director and Singing Tutor in a number of leading drama schools.

An accomplished Arranger and Orchestrator , Jo is also experienced in the creation and preparation of backing tracks and click tracks
​
In addition to working as an MD, Jo works with University of the Arts London as a Senior Moderator and is a Dissertation Supervisor at Emil Dale Academy.

Jo is a qualified Vocal Health First aider and has also completed a Vocal Balance for MD's course.
